Course Description:
In this 2-day class students will complete one bandana/ponytail/braid cuff. They will learn to create a small, curved bezel to make a unique one-of-a-kind piece of functional art jewelry. Students will learn tips and tricks and why it's important to select the correct bezel height when fitting a stone. They will also learn how to create a unique and uniform design that suits the stone. It's all about the design and how it complements the stone!
Materials cost is $65 to be collected by the instructor at the beginning of class.
*Please note, this is not a beginner class. The student will need to have previous experience soldering with a torch, as well as sawing and piercing metal.
About the Instructor:
Discovering her love for silversmithing in 2016, she has worked hard refining her craft.
Since then she's worked on refining her craft and learning all she can mostly through hands on , workshops, trial and error and teaching herself. "A tenacity to figure things out helps, but a strong fervor for this work is what makes a great silversmith."
